Looking Glass Rock Trail at Brevard, Brevard, North Carolina.

From US Hwy 276 take Forest Service Rd 475. Trailhead parking will be first pull off on your right. ""Be sure you take water with you"". This is a moderate to strenuous hike so it's not for everyone. The trail can get narrow in places and has a lot of switchbacks. Can be slippery at times. Do not expect to see any views on your way up as most of the trail is covered by the forest canopy. The trail ends with a spectacular view but be careful and don't wander to far out on the rock as several have fallen to their deaths... If you are into backpack camping, you can find several places on your way up but don't forget your water...Oh did I mention rock climbing? Great place to rock climb if you are into it.

It was a narrow bath that was muddy and slippery. I did enjoy the challenge though. I was told by another person that it's about 3 miles long. It has a continuous climb up and then it has you come back down.
